Not too shabby! lucyspocket earned 1183 points for her workout.
The workout consisted of Stability Ball Jack Knife Sit-Up, Barbell Squat, Push-Up, Dumbbell Step Ups, and Seated Cable Row.
So after my trip to a&e on Saturday afternoon I spent the rest of the weekend mostly resting. I took a break from being dairy free and had a bit of a naughty day (chicken and chips take away and some Ben n jerrys)
On Sunday I went out for brunch to a place called the duck egg cafe and had scrambled duck eggs on toast which was yum-tastic! I swear if I could make eggs like they did I’d eat them err day!
The rest of Sunday was spent feet up watching community and playing street fighter!
Today I trialled my foot out. I’m so pissed off with myself for fucking my foot up. I’d signed up for a race in march, I’d gotten my run time down, I was SO excited! And now I’m just so jealous of everybody else running!
So I researched some running stuff and actually went to do some exercise in the gym for the first time in two months!
I did 4x10 bent over rows with 20kg
3x10 Swiss ball jack knife crunch
4x10 side bend (10kg dumbbells)(each side)
3x10 hamstring curls (level 6,8,10)
3x10 weighted tricep dip (10kg/10kg/15kg)
3x10 seated cable row (16.25kg/18.75kg/26.25kg)
15 minutes on the recumbent bike
It was good but I’m a little done out now so it’s feet up for the rest of the evening.
IT’S TOO EARLY.
12.5 hour shift starting at 8 finishing at 20:30 except oh wait nope didn’t leave until 21:35 and not even home yet.
Press repeat for tomorrow.

Aw I love it when Anna sends me these.
5 random facts ok…ehm
1. When I was 5 my mum made us get matching bowl haircuts and somebody asked me if I was a boy or a girl whilst I was wearing a skirt #scarred
2. When I was 9 I ran in to a door and broke and dislocated my little toe and required surgery.
3. I have one tattoo on my ribs that I got in Brooklyn when I was 21 and I want to get one more this year.
4. I used to love acting and was in every school play
5. I love crafty things and I used to make little felt milk cartons with faces
Well you did ask for random :)
I just realised I haven’t really posted properly in a week.
What have I been up to…not that much because I’ve been working. I went from 2 nights to one day shift and back on to a night shift.
In truth the majority of my time has been spent either in work/asleep or in a zombie like state watching west wing with ciaran.
We did however manage a run on Sunday.
We’ve figured out our differences.
Being that he likes to run more and more full on where as I like to take regular walking breaks (at the minute, I’m getting back into the swing of it, get off my back!)
So instead I challenged him, my only friend on nike + (seriously I need more nike friends, if you have it you should befriend me and laugh at my slow runs, I’m lucyspocket)
I challenged him to run two miles, we set off together towards the park but quickly separated. My two miles were…they were ok.
I know I know I should win a medal for my amazing descriptive writing skills. Truth be told I now can’t remember much of the run, only the end which was fun because it ended in meeting ciaran at a lovely cafe called the blackbird bakery and having an Americano with soy milk and then walking home (another mile) and having a lovely Sunday afternoon before I went to night shift (BOOOO)(I’m apparently loving brackets right now)
On Monday I was meant to run however I ended up going for breakfast after night shift (French toast with fresh fruit) and then watching sherlock so by the time I’d grabbed 2 hours of sleep I was an emotional wreck (the finale of the first season of west wing) and did not want to run.
Today was a different story.
We’ll not completely.
Because come the morning, I never want to run.
I had breakfast or porridge and stewed apple. Then I delayed the run because I was hungry and had a coffee and an orange and Prestat mint crucnch dark chocolate.
Finally the time rolled by and it was running time. We’ve challenged each other to run 7 miles by Sunday.
2.25 miles today”
My first mile was ace. No stopping, no real need to stop.
It was bombdiggity (yup).
The second mile.
I had mapped out a route on mapmyrun to go through a footpath that would come out at the end of my road.
I forgot to check the elevation.
Sweet Jesus. The hill was SO steep.
Like I actually took a moment before I started just to contemplate it.
I tried, oh I tried, but I had to walk up it, and even walking up it was hard.
Then I got to run down it, which wasn’t actually as fun as it sounds because the sun was really bright so I couldn’t really see properly and it was a bit of a scary footpath and it was really muddy and a bit rocky.
Anyhow I got out alive, did a loop around my street then collapsed in a heap on my bed.
After I’d regained my composure I did a 20 minute vinyasa flow sequence which made me feel pretty sweet.
This afternoon I went for tea with ciaran, I was hoping to get a bun too as this place usually does one gluten/dairy free treat but alas, none today so It was early grey tea and soy milk.
Tonight I’m heading out for dinner with two good friends.
But then work tomorrow.Boo.
Oh one more thing if you’re still hanging on there, I got high wasted medium blue jeggings from ASOS today and THEYRE SO COMFY.
